Body & psychotherapist MPF |Spiritual mentor |
Couples therapist | Coach | Supervisor
My unique strength comes from the experience and depth I’ve gained over 40 years as an independent psychotherapist (MPF), body psychotherapist and process leader in Lifeprocess. Copenhagen.
It is an experience that I combine with presence, bodily and relational understanding and the ability to work with the deeper layers behind symptoms, patterns, relationships and life transitions
With 40 years of experience, I work with people and professionals who are not primarily looking for a quick fix, but a deeper, body- and spiritually grounded process.
My practice includes 1:1 psychotherapy, spiritual mentor support, supervision for psychotherapists, coaches and therapists, as well as group sessions with a focus on the qualities of the heart, presence, immersion, grounding and centering.
When we begin to listen more deeply to the body, the heart and what calls from within, we often find a more direct path to balance, clarity and vitality.
You already hold many of the answers to the imbalances, frustrations, or longings you carry. Yet it can be difficult to hear them on your own, especially if you have spent years adapting, overlooking yourself, or losing touch with what is fundamentally true for you.
That is why having a close companion can be essential. A space where you can land, listen, and begin to trust what your body and heart reveal to you.
The path is different for everyone. In my work, I`m using spiritual psychotherapy, body psychotherapy, supervision, coaching, heartfulness, meditation, yoga, and energetic awareness. What unites them all is the intention to support you in re‑establishing contact with the many layers you already contain. And to support you in bringing that contact into your daily life.
By uncovering and integrating the wisdom of the heart, which resides in all of us, you can take a more direct path to a life in balance. You yourself hold the solution and the answers to many of the imbalances or frustrations you might be dealing with in your life. Yet, it’s not just nice, but necessary, to have someone by your side in that exploration. And I wholeheartedly support in that process, by standing right by your side. So, I can show you, in the mirror of your own heart, who you are. I teach you to trust what your heart tells you concretely.
The path there is different for everyone. I contribute with various forms in the process: For example, self-development, spiritual psychotherapy, body psychotherapy coaching, mindfulness, heartfulness, meditation, and yoga. I support you in re-establishing contact with the many layers you encompass. Through this process, you can return to your own nature.
A person with only success in mind, fals love in their heart.
Stèphano Sabetti
You may not know exactly what you need when you come for the first time, and you don’t have to. You are not expected to put everything into words beforehand.
Many people are contacting me, because they find themselves at an existential crossroads. The old life may feel worn out, while the new has not yet revealed itself. The signs can be dissatisfaction, restlessness, fatigue, boredom, unease, or a quiet sense that something inside is calling.
Imbalance can show itself in many ways. It may appear as stress, anxiety, anger, emptiness, emotional swings, or a persistent tiredness. But it can also be more subtle, like a soft veil over life, where joy, the body, and your inner direction feel far away.
When we give this attention in a safe and present space, it often becomes clearer what you truly need. Not as a quick fix, but as a process in which something within you can regain contact, language, and direction.
When you have set aside your own needs, your creativity, or your deeper inner knowing for a long time, imbalance begins to arise. The body often starts speaking long before we understand its message.
What do you notice when you become quiet? What does your heart tell you? And do you give yourself the time to listen to the signals your body, mind, and awareness are already offering?
In my experience, quiet space is essential. Not as a pause from life, but as a place where you can begin to hear yourself more clearly.
I know that path from the inside as well. Earlier in my life, I let myself be guided by learning ideas about how I ought to live. Only when I began to listen more deeply to what was true for me, did I gradually reconnect with a completely different sense of freedom, fundamental joy, and life force.
I work in a holistic and organic way. This means that I draw on several levels, depending on what is needed in your process: the emotional, the bodily, the mental, the relational, the energetic, and the spiritual.
The aim is not to force a particular kind of change, but to create a space where you can connect into deeper contact with yourself, your inner resources, and what is longing to have more space in your life.
When old emotions, patterns, or forgotten parts of yourself are met gently and concretely, then energy, clarity, and life force can be released. You may begin to sense more clearly what is true for you, and from there, take responsibility for the direction you wish to move in.
I offer individual sessions, spiritual mentoring, body psychotherapy, supervision, couple therapy and other relational work, group processes, courses, and retreats. What they all have in common is that we work with presence, relationships, bodily grounding, and deeper contact with what already lives within you
Working in a group can be a valuable supplement to an individual process, and a very different kind of learning experience. In the encounter with others, your own themes often become clearer, and you may discover how presence, recognition, and community can support change.
You may also choose a relational process. This can be with your partner or within another important relationship, for example with a business partner or a sibling. Relationships often reveal patterns we cannot see on our own. For that reason, it can be deeply transformative to explore what happens when we come closer to one another.
In addition to my pedagogical background, I am a certified psychotherapist (MPF) and body psychotherapist. Since 1999, spiritual training and development have been an integrated part of my work. The development of the heart’s resources, on many levels, has been a central thread throughout my professional life.
Over the years, my work has included coaching, personal development, self-inquiry, project management, and continuing education.
The L.E.P. body psychotherapy education is approved by the EABP, the European Association for Body Psychotherapy, and by Reflektor, in accordance with the interministerial quality criteria for private psychotherapy education in Denmark. These criteria were developed in 2004 by the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Interior and Health.
The education is also approved by the Danish Association of Psychotherapists.
L.E.P. is based on scientific research into universal life energy, which is understood to underlie all processes of change. This research suggests that every open system moves towards wholeness and develops greater health when energy can flow freely. For various reasons, this natural flow can become disturbed, and challenges may arise on different levels: organizational, physical, psychological, and social.
The founder, Dr. Stèphano Sabetti, formerly of Boston University, developed L.E.P. through more than 35 years of work. He later developed Path of No Way®, heartfulness training, the methodology I have worked with for many years and have since continued to develop in my own practice.
I am an approved member of the following professional organizations and adhere to their ethical guidelines:
Member of ICEEFT: The International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy
Member of the Danish Association of Psychotherapists MPF
